Helen is a highly experienced organisational development consultant and charity leader. She is the founder and, for the past twenty-one years, the Co-Director of the human rights charity Inquest. She has also served as a Trustee and Non-Executive member of several organisations, including the Retained Organs Commission and Human Tissue Authority.

Helen achieved an MA in Consulting to Organisations: Psychoanalytic Approaches, from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in 2010, and is currently pursuing a professional Doctor in Consulting to Organisations with them. She is an alumnus of the Analytic Network Coaching Advanced Training Programme and a trained Gestalt therapist. She holds a part time Senior Lectureship at the University of Birmingham Health Services Management Centre and is a tutor on the NHS Leadership Academy’s Elizabeth Garrett Anderson MSc in Healthcare Leadership.
